UK-Japan workshop on microbial systems biology and the invitation to poster session

This workshop is part of a series of Strategic International Corporation program funded by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) for Japan side and by British Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) for UK side. Following to the previous workshop held at the University of Surrey, in Guildford UK, the two-day workshop is scheduled to be held at the IAB campus of Keio University in Tsuruoka city, Yamagata, Japan on October 24-25, 2011.

The workshop series is meant to promote collaborations and interactions between researchers in the two countries (and this year especially with IAB scientists) active in the field of microbial systems biology, but not restricted to microbial applications. A delegation of about twelve external researchers (including eight from the UK) will present their latest research at the two-day workshop together with a dozen IAB researchers.
