Prof. Tomita received the Yamagata Prefecture Distinguished Achievement Award

Yamagata Prefecture announced that Yamagata Prefecture Distinguished Achievement Award is given to Prof. Masaru Tomita, a director general of Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University.

This prize is awarded to those who have had a great achievement in the prefectural development in a wide range of fields.
His achievements since establishment of IAB in 2001, in the academic field (life science), industrial promotion,human resource development, educational promotion and regional promotion were evaluated and awarded.

The presentation ceremony will be held in Yamagata City on November 3.
