(19.05.16)
Shahlizah Sahul Hamid, our Ph.D. student, won the Best Student Oral Awards at an international conference held in Jeju, South Korea called the 23rd International Seaweed Symposium 2019 (ISS 2019).
The purpose of this study is to elucidate the change of components in the boiled process of seaweed and mekabu eaten in East Asia including Japan using metabolomic analysis.
Comments from Ms.Shalizah:
I was so happy to be able to interact with researchers in various fields at the largest international conference in the seaweed research field and to receive such awards. I hope to use this research to help find the best conditions for food and daily cooking using seaweed.
