Tsuruoka City's "Gastronomic Innovation" Initiative Selected for Cabinet Office Grant

Tsuruoka City has announced that its "Tsuruoka Gastronomic Innovation" plan was officially selected for the Cabinet Office's "Local University and Regional Industry Revitalization Grant Program." The project is designed to advance the food industry and food culture by leveraging the synergy between biotechnology and culinary science. In collaboration with Yamagata University's Faculty of Agriculture, Keio University's Institute for Advanced Biosciences (IAB), and various other stakeholders, Tsuruoka aims to establish itself as a global hub for "Food and Health" research.
